Delete your data

You can delete your Reelday account and all the data in it at any time, in two ways. Deletion is permanent.

Option 1: in the app

Open Settings, scroll to the bottom and choose "Delete account and data". Confirm. Your account and everything in it are removed immediately and permanently.

Option 2: by email

Write to support@reelday.io from the email address registered to your account, asking for deletion. We verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and email address, your uploaded clips and photos, the reels we built and their cover images, transcripts and captions, the figures collected for your reels, your schedule and settings, your weekly reports and coach messages, and your stored Instagram access token. Removing the token ends our access to your Instagram account.

What may be kept, and why

Records we are required to keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, for only as long as the law requires, and anonymised usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you. Reels that were already published stay on your Instagram account: they are yours, under your control there, and you can delete them in Instagram at any time.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription. Cancel it first — in the app, through the link in your Paddle receipt, at paddle.net, or through the App Store or Google Play — or write to support@reelday.io and we will confirm both.

Disconnecting Instagram without deleting

If you only want to stop the Instagram connection, open Settings, then Instagram, then Disconnect. You can also revoke Reelday from within Instagram itself. Either way publishing stops immediately and your account and past reels stay.
